Mark your calendars and join Second Chance Foods for a night of appetizers, dinner, dessert, silent auction, raffles, connection, and so much more!
Second Chance Foods is a non-profit organization that connects fresh, healthy food to people in the community that need food assistance. They collect food from local farms, grocery stores, orchards and other organizations that have surplus, and before it goes to waste, turns it into delectable dishes that they distribute to local hunger relief organizations, food pantries and households. But they are not making just ordinary meals made from non-perishable canned, boxed and frozen items. Instead, the meals they are cooking is food that makes the community they serve feel special and cared for. Through generous donations, a great staff and the compassion and support of volunteers they are serving up restaurant quality meals.
November 12th is your chance to get "a taste" of what they are doing as they host their 2nd Annual Harvest Celebration. Tickets are $100 per person and include a locally sourced meal all cooked by the Second Chance Foods kitchen.
